CALCIUM CARBONATE
Calcium carbonate is used in the market as a filler. It is thoroughly dispersible in polymeric matrix during compounding and processing. For maximum property development and formulation flexibility, our range of calcium carbonate products are designed to give good dispersion along with excellent incorporation in the polymer matrix.

COATED CALCIUM CARBONATE
In its natural state, calcium carbonate is hydrophilic, meaning that it tends to attract water, mix with it, absorb it, or be easily dissolved in it. In industries like plastic, this characteristic of calcium carbonate can actually be a problem and create a lot of friction. This property of calcium carbonate can be changed by coating it to reduce the friction and make the mineral hydrophobic so that it repels water. We coat calcium carbonate is by using a stearic acid and spraying it onto the calcium carbonate.
Coated calcium carbonate is used in paints, as a filler for paper, in ceramics applications, and the health supplements industry.

CELESTINE
Celestine (SrSO4) is a soft sulfate mineral that is typically pale blue, white, pale yellow, or colorless. Celestine and the carbonate mineral strontianite are the principal sources of the element strontium, commonly used in fireworks and in various metal alloys.

CHALK
In Roman Britain, Anglo-Saxons times and the Middle Ages, chalk was applied to the land as fertilizer, which is still practiced today by farmers. Regular calcium carbonate applications help reduce soil acidity and optimize conditions for crop growth. Old Norman leases often contained covenants to ensure that chalk was regularly applied to the land and a statue of Henry III in 1225, gave every man the right to sink a marl pit on his own land.

TALCUM
Talcum is a hydrous magnesium silicate mineral with the chemical composition of Mg3Si4O10(OH)2. Its color ranges from white, gray, brown and green to colorless. Talcum is a translucent mineral with a pearly luster. It is the softest known mineral and is assigned a hardness of 1 on the Mohs hardness scale. This monoclinic mineral with a sheet structure similar to the Mica, has perfect cleavage that follows planes between the weakly bonded sheets. These sheets are held together only by van der waals bonds which easily allows them to slip past one another. This characteristic allows talc to have a soft, greasy, soapy feel to it. These distinguishing properties of the mineral make it an essential ingredient in cosmetic products, paints, paper and rubber. The usage of Talc in water based paints makes it shiny, hides the paint film and increases its strength.

KAOLIN
Kaolin, also called china clay, soft white clay that is an essential ingredient in the manufacture of china and porcelain and is widely used in the making of paper, rubber, paint, and many other products. It is a layered silicate mineral, with one tetrahedral sheet of silica ( SiO 4) linked through oxygen atoms to one octahedral sheet of alumina ( AlO 6) octahedra.
